Welcome to The Victorian Inn, a charming Lake Erie bed and breakfast located in the heart of Marblehead, Ohio—one of the most peaceful and inviting places to stay near Marblehead Lighthouse and East Harbor State Park. To ensure a comfortable and memorable stay, please review the following guest policies.

Reservation & Payment Policies

Booking Requirements

A valid credit card is required for all reservations.
50% of the total stay is charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to arrival, unless otherwise noted.

Minimum Stay

Single-night stays are available.
During peak travel periods—popular for Lake Erie weekend getaways and romantic getaways in Marblehead Ohio—minimum night requirements may apply.

Cancellation Policies

Standard Cancellation

Cancellations made 14 or more days prior to arrival receive 50% refund (less a $35 cancellation fee).
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable, including taxes and fees.
We sincerely appreciate your support of our small business! We understand that emergencies can arise, and we recognize the value of every dollar our guests spend, which is why we offer travel insurance starting at just 7% of your trip (for example, $7.00 for a $100 night stay). While our cancellation policies are designed to protect both our guests and our operations, we strive to be flexible whenever possible.

Travel Insurance

Optional travel insurance is available at time of booking or within +5 days of booking WHEN less than 30 days from check in date for as little as 7% x trip cost.

No-Shows & Early Departures

No-shows and early departures are charged 100% of the reservation, without exception.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: After 4:00 PM
Check-Out: 10:00 AM
These times allow us to prepare your room to the highest standard for your stay.
Early or late arrivals are available for an additional fee; please request at booking or contact us directly.
Minimum Check-In Age: 21 years old

Room Occupancy & Additional Guests

Standard rates reflect double occupancy.
Additional guests—including infants and children—are $25 per person, per night, permitted only in rooms with extra bed accommodations.
Room occupancy limits must be strictly followed for safety.

Pet-friendly lodging in Marblehead Ohio & Service Animals

Pets are permitted only in Rooms 8 and 9, for $35 per night per pet, plus a damage deposit.
Unauthorized pets will incur a $150 cleaning fee.
ADA-recognized service animals are always welcome.

Housekeeping

We provide guest-focused cleaning to enhance your Lake Erie getaway experience:

Daily housekeeping is available for an additional fee; please request at booking or contact us during your stay.
Stays longer than three nights receive a refresh service after the third night unless you choose to opt out.

Alcohol Policy

Guests must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
Please enjoy responsibly and be considerate of fellow guests.

Non-Smoking Policy

Guest rooms and indoor common areas are strictly smoke-free.
Designated outdoor smoking areas are on porches, patios, and outdoor seating areas; please be courteous.
Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, incense, or candles are not permitted indoors. Violations will incur a $250 cleaning surcharge.

Firearms Policy

Open carry is not permitted anywhere on the property, regardless of local laws.
Firearms must be stored in a locked, hard-sided container provided by the guest.
Firearms may only be stored in your private room or locked vehicle.
Noncompliance may result in removal from the property.
This policy does not apply to on-duty law enforcement or military personnel.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM to ensure restful nights at our romantic Inn near Lake Erie.

Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for damages caused by gross negligence or improper use of guest rooms, furnishings, or facilities.

Parking & Property Access

Complimentary parking is provided for all registered guests.
Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless approved by management.
