We Won the Shores & Islands Grant! A New Outdoor Event Center is Coming to The Victorian Inn
We’re beyond excited to share that The Victorian Inn Bed & Breakfast has been awarded grant funds from Shores & Islands Ohio to help bring our vision of an outdoor event center to life!
Thanks to this generous support, we’ll soon begin construction on a beautiful new gathering space, perfect for weddings, family reunions, and special celebrations right here in Marblehead, Ohio.
What’s Coming to The Victorian Inn:

A 48 x 18 custom stone patio ideal for receptions, dinner parties, and dancing under the stars

A 14 x 14 white pergola that will serve as a stunning ceremony site or outdoor focal point

A pebble walkway connecting the patio and pergola, surrounded by thoughtfully designed landscaping

And when we’re not hosting events, the space will transform into a peaceful retreat for guests—complete with a comfortable outdoor sofa set under the pergola and a cozy firepit, perfect for relaxing evenings and stargazing after a day of exploring Lake Erie
This new outdoor event center will enhance everything we love about The Victorian Inn—welcoming spaces, elegant design, and a deep connection to our community. Whether you're dreaming of a Lake Erie wedding, planning a family reunion, or simply looking for a place to unwind, this new space will offer both versatility and charm.
We are truly honored to receive this grant from Shores & Islands Ohio and grateful for their continued support of local tourism and hospitality. Construction begins soon, and we’ll be sharing updates every step of the way!
